Getting the Best Price in Morocco

Welcome to my betting blog. I’ll be featuring a variety of gambling advice but the mainstays will be football, tennis and the build-up to the 2012 Olympics entitled Olympic Watch.

However my 1st blog is a bit different. I’m currently on holiday in Morocco sampling the delights of Marrakesh. So far my good lady and I have had a lovely time. As a man who always uses couscous instead of rice I’ve come to the right country. The two mainstays of Moroccan cuisine seem to be the couscous and tagine dish. Of course each dish is completed with a wonderful array of spices and we have come across the infamous 35-spice-blend which will no doubt be purchased to make future stints in the kitchen a lot easier.

We have also come to realise that the Marakeshians are a wily old bunch. We’re going to have our wits about us when we start the serious business of souk shopping. To give you an idea of just how cheeky they can be I’ll give you a previous exchange. My girlfriend was looking at a bracelet. The 1st quote was 600 dirims. We didn’t even want it so we put in a token 200 offer. After a really well-rehearsed tug at the heartstrings he accepts and calls our bluff. We really didn’t want it so were polite and said no. In the end he rather quickly went down to 100. Now he wasn’t desperate or upset- he was just taking the absolute **** with the 1st offer.

Taxis drivers have also been ridiculous but I guess it’s all part of being on holiday. The next few days will be spent getting massages in the hamam and souk shopping. I’ll be back for some serious sport and betting blogging next week.

On second thoughts my man in morocco assures me that this Sunday’s fixture between KAC and MAC is a nailed on draw and under 2.5 Goals. Have a big bet and get on the Bwin bandwagon.

Over and out.
