Tommy’s Greyhound Review
Greyhound Gambling Advice
This week’s greyhound review highlights the Prestige at Hall Green and supporting card live on Sky Sports. There were some shocks in the first round with all favourites getting turned over, notably antepost favourite Lonely Boy who looked to have a plum draw in one. Missing his break saw him immediately on the back foot and struggling, eventually getting beat 20 lengths after getting in trouble at the third and fourth bend.
Most impressive greyhound of the first round was Fleeting Image trained by Kelly Findlay which led from trap to line winning by 7 ½ lengths. Going in to Tuesday final he lines up a warm favourite at 11/10!
The first race sees Taylors Cruise winner of last year’s Scottish having his first race since contesting the East Anglia Derby in September. I expect him to make a winning return to action but he will be no backable price.
Next race on the card is contested by Lonely Boy trying to make amends for his surprise elimination from the Prestige. He managed to find trouble coming out of trap one last week so I don’t hold much hope for supporters this week as he runs from trap six! He is the fastest greyhound in the race but from that draw I wouldn’t be backing him.
Big Bet – Lottes Girl
Later on in the evening is my highlight of the night: the marathon where I fancy Lottes Girl, a bitch known for leading and going clear but then struggling to hold on to the lead coming to the finishing line. This week’s race isn’t the best of marathons and I expect her to get her own way in front and hold off any late challengers.
