Counting My Winnings

Apologies for the space between blogs… I was too busy counting and spending my winnings from the last one. Haha. I’ve been away recently so haven’t had time to write my betting blog, hence your tennis correspondent not even commenting on the Aussie open!

I’m back now and ready to try to give you some gambling advice and guide you to some more winners. Let’s start with the weekend’s football.

I can’t believe Bolton are 11/4 away at Norwich and a ridiculous 7/4 DNB. I’d strongly recommend the DNB as Bolton are a team who have found a bit of form. They’re unbeaten in their last four matches which included a very impressive victory over Liverpool. Norwich’s home form is ok but Bolton have won more games away than at home. Confidence could be low in the Norwich camp after a meek 3-0 surrender at Sunderland. There won’t be any new signings of note on show but the recent form of Martin Petrov is as good as a new player. He will be the key man.

Of the other Premier league matches, I’d recommend a big bet on over 2.5 goals in the Chelsea United match at even money. I fancy there to be goals in this one as Chelsea are just awful at the moment and United are missing their key men. This could also be the day that Torres finally scores. I will be backing him EW FGS at 7/1.

The other recommendation would be Wigan DNB @ 6/4. I’m not convinced about the Everton revival and I think Wigan will see this as a game they can and must win.

Lower down the leagues a big bet on Bradford at home to Crawley is in order. Crawley have just lost two of their best players and the 5/6 about Crawley looks too short against a Bradford team who will have a big crowd and have a decent home record. Take the 3/1 about Bradford or the DNB @ 2/1.

As always I like to keep my blogs short and sweet. What I will say is whatever big bets you have this weekend, just stick in England outright for the PDC World Cup of Darts on the end of it @ 4/6. We really do have the dream team out for us. Taylor and Lewis will be looking to right the serious wrong of last year when Taylor and Wade went out in round 2! If Taylor and Lewis get beat I’ll give the game up. Lewis has just won the world title and Taylor is the greatest ever… these two cannot get beat!

In other news I’ve managed to hit the magical 180 and even checked out a massive 129. Exciting times in my budding young darts career! Haha. Enjoy the weekend’s sport. I’m off to Yorkshire for a bit of fresh air.

Over and out.
