Mick Collier – Masterchef Extraordinare

What I am about to tell you is true. It has actually happened.

Mick Collier, our Head of Trading, has (in secret) appeared on Masterchef and won the first round. He entered a special Turkish cooking version, he isn’t even Turkish, and he won.

In an office full of neanderthals (myself included), this really is incredible. Amazing. Astounding. Words fail me…!

Mick, CONGRATULATIONS!!! This is a truly wonderful achievement. I can speak for all of us and say that we will be glued to the television when it’s shown and, of course, for all of the latter rounds.

My idea of culture is going for a carvery and having a prawn cocktail for a starter and when I asked Mick what he cooked, I’d never even heard of it. He is clearly a professional. That, or he’s desperate to leave my clutches and has reinvented himself as a chef in order to find a way to escape!

My only question is to ask why Mick has not actually cooked everyone in the office kebabs for dinner yet??!!

I shall keep you all posted as to when it’s on the box.
