ANTEPOST: Derby and Oaks

One of the world’s great races, won last year by Dermot Weld’s Aga Khan homebred Harzand. The Coolmore operation have their usual strong hand with Cliffs Of Moher at the head of the market, although the rest have looked a bit short of the top level in their respective trials. John Gosden’s Cracksman may only have scraped home in the Epsom trial but left the impression he could be a good deal better than that, while the Guineas 6th Eminent could be a solid improver up in trip.
