BEN’S BLOG: ‘Nick Goff – A Way of Life’

Nick Goff is a man who deals in common-sense. The Game is full of skint but genuine geniuses. Mr Goff is not one of them. He leaves out over the top theorising and prefers to talk straightforward working practises and finding value. In video interviews here, with Simon Nott, he speaks to us about his career, working for Big Bookies, and then breaking out and making the huge step to becoming a Pro-Punter.

Right the way through, Nick gives us thorough advice on what is NECESSARY, for this way of life. Not getting carried away by small sample-sizes, keeping an eye on SP’s, continually evolving and moving forward and what plagues so many Pros; The Lonely Life.

I really do mean it, when I say that this is essential viewing for anybody considering becoming a professional-gambler. He hides none of the mental strain and lifestyle advice that you need to hear. THANK YOU, NICK.

NICK GOFF (part 1 of 3)

Professional Punter Nick Goff talks of his early days going racing and a ‘Warning’ about understanding betting terminology before making statements! He also talks two lucky escapes as a wanna-be bookmaker before getting involved in the industry proper and an inspired ‘how did I do?’ email that kicked started his career.

NICK GOFF (part 2 of 3)

In part 2 Nick talks of his time with Centrebet, then working for John Thompson in Malta, his respect for Simon Clare of Corals then going it alone as a professional punter. He has advice for punters on how to handle winning as well as losing.

NICK GOFF (part 3 of 3)

In the third and final part Nick tells us why, after initially winning at it, he turned in playing on-line poker, strategies with sport and football betting. He also gives his opinion on the most important weapon in a punter’s armoury and tells of a massive 33/1 into 11/4 all-weather gamble.

Ben’s Food Vlog 65: La Marinera, Plaza Alonso Ojeda, s/n, 35009 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I like Las Palmas very much. Real energy. And a fantastic beach, for marching up and down on, thinking about world domination. This restaurant does the job. The mixed-salad accompanied by smoked-salmon & crab-sticks; a nice surprise. WORKABLE. 7
