[dropcap]G[/dropcap]reetings from Newmarket, my dear Blog. I absolutely loved betting, on our new pitch, on the rails, at the July course yesterday. This really is a cracking ring, with plenty of decent Punters about, and I would recommend anyone interested in on-course bookmaking, to consider Newmarket July Rails, as a great place to get started.
Now, look, you lot…I’m going to be at the races again today, and I want to see a nice orderly queue, of Dodgey-Punters, all lined up, to back the next favourite, in each race. YOU KNOW THE RULES…BET STAR..!!
In other news:
Maison Bleue, 30-31 Churchgate Street, Bury St Edmonds. http://www.maisonbleue.co.uk/index.htm We are staying locally, and tried out this classy and stylish French restaurant, last night. It’s a bit Ooly Fooly (fancy) for what I’d normally like, but I couldn’t find fault, right the way through the card. The service was not only excellent, but friendly too, and by the looks of things, booking is a necessity.
Maison Bleue. The bread is a MAXIMUM BET. At £110 for 2 (no booze), it might sound a bit toppy for the provinces, but it’s real quality. Don’t miss, if you’re at Newmarket. 8.
