BEN’S BLOG: ‘Women in the Betting-Ring’

ben_keith_team-150x150[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t is always a pleasure to bet next to Julie Williams at Cheltenham, and great to see that she has Tanya Stevenson, on the firm this year too. On-course bookies always say, that a woman working ‘up top’, will drag in more Punters, as they are seen as being less scary to the novice racegoer.

Julie is an excellent bookmaker and offers her repeat clientele a competitive and professional service. But neither does she tolerate any nonsense! Blog, why do we not see more women and also minorities working in the betting-ring?

If we are to move forward together; this must happen.
