Glenn’s golf gambling

After an appalling run recently I am going to try a different approach in my betting blog this week. Some of my selections you will have seen recently and understand why I am putting them forward. The others will be somewhat of a mystery!

Delving into the form, course and current is a time consuming and sometimes tedious experience, especially when things are not going well. I have done so this week but am not going to write an extensive blog to explain why. Selections only this week. So here goes.

Singapore Open – Scott Jamieson @ 80/1. On a different note the sponsors of last week’s Champions event must be even more pissed now world number Rory McIlroy rocks up in Singapore? Strange.

CMN Hospitals Open – Charlie Beljan @ 200/1, B.de Jonge @ 14/1 (short for a tour maiden but had three top 5 finishes in last three events), B.Harman @ 50/1, Jason Kokrak (got to stick with him) @ 80/1, David Mathis @ 100/1 and Scott Stallings @ 60/1.

One of the (former) major Japanese tournaments the Taiheiyo Masters also takes place this week. Players from both the US and European tours regularly competed in the end of season Japanese events but since golf went ‘global’ they have suffered greatly in quality. For our selection we are sticking with Hiroyuki Fujita @ 9/1.

Good luck and let’s hope the change of format brings about a change in our fortunes!!
