⚪️ There is less positive news from Fulham, with boss Marco Silva expressing his frustration at the club’s summer window: “I didn’t expect us to be this passive. I knew what I wanted and the plan was there but it hasn’t happened. Right now we need to reinforce. In some positions we are very short.

⚪️ Dominic Calvert-Lewin is set for a medical at Leeds United after reaching an agreement to join the newly promoted Premier League side on a free transfer. Calvert-Lewin scored 71 goals in 273 games for Everton after joining from Sheffield United for £1.5m in 2016 before leaving as a free agent in the summer, making the “incredibly difficult decision” to leave the club.
🧤 Gianluigi Donnarumma could be a Premier League player before the window ends. His PSG career appears to be over after he was left out of Wednesday’s Uefa Super Cup final against Tottenham, following the signing of Lucas Chevalier from Lille, with Manchester City reportedly in talks with the Italian, and other top clubs sure to be interested.
⚫️ Newcastle are in advanced negotiations with Aston Villa over a move for midfielder Jacob Ramsey, who was a regular for Unai Emery’s side last season. Ramsey would be just the third arrival of a difficult window for Eddie Howe’s side, with winger Anthony Elanga arriving from Nottingham Forest, defender Malick Thiaw joining from AC Milan, and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale arriving on loan from Southampton.

🔵 Everton have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Jack Grealish on a season-long loan deal from fellow Premier League side Manchester City, four years on from his £100m move to the club from Aston Villa.
🔴 According to respected journalist David Ornstein, Liverpool are advancing in talks with Crystal Palace over the possible signing of defender Marc Guehi. Palace defeated Liverpool at the weekend in the Community Shield.

🔵 Everton have agreed a season-long loan deal for Manchester City winger Jack Grealish. Grealish, a treble winner with City two seasons ago, was left out of their squad for the final Premier League game of last season at Fulham as well as the Club World Cup in the United States in a disappointing season when he made only seven league starts.
⚪️ Tottenham have approached Manchester City about signing Savinho, with talks under way between the two clubs. According to reports City are not keen to let the 21 year old Brazil international leave are he joined just last summer, despite the fierce competition for spots on the wing. Savinho can also play as a number 10, something which has attracted Spurs’ attention with the loss of James Maddison to injury.
🔴 Sunderland have agreed a £10m deal to sign defender Omar Alderete from Spanish side Getafe with a further £900,000 in add-ons. The promoted side have now made 11 additions, including former Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka, former Brighton winger Simon Adingra and club record signing Habib Diarra.

🏆 FA Cup holders Crystal Palace beat Premier League champions Liverpool 3-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw to win an enthralling Community Shield. Goalkeeper Dean Henderson was the shootout hero for Palace as he saved from Alexis Mac Allister and Harvey Elliott, while Mohamed Salah sent his kick over the bar. of Liverpool’s five major summer signings started, with Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong scoring, but Palace pulled them back twice thanks to Jean-Philippe Mateta’s penalty and a late goal from Ismaila Sarr.
🍒 Bournemouth are on the verge of signing of French centre-back Bafode Diakite from Lille. The reported fee – initial fee of £30.3m plus £4.3m in add-ons according to the BBC – would make him their second most expensive signing. Diakite made 85 appearances in Ligue 1 since joining Lille from Toulouse in 2022, and played 10 times in the Champions League last season.

⚫️ Aleksander Isak has been told that he won’t be sold this summer and his move to Liverpool will be blocked, according to The Telegraph’s Luke Edwards.
🏟️ Final pre-season preparations are taking place for Premier League clubs. Manchester United drew 1-1 with Fiorentina in their final pre-season warm up game at Old Trafford, whilst Arsenal’s big forward signing Viktor Gyökeres opened his club account against Athletic Club at the Emirates.
📑 Sunderland head coach Regis Le Bris has signed a new contract until the summer of 2028. The Frenchman, who has overseen the club’s return to the Premier League for the first time since 2016/17, was appointed in June 2024 and has bene backed in the transfer market this summer with additions including a deal to sign former Arsenal midfielder Xhaka for a fee reportedly in the region of £17m.

🔴 Arsenal’s exciting youngster Ethan Nwaneri has signed a new five-year contract, which will keep him at the Premier League club until the summer of 2030.
🔴 Sunderland are on the verge of completing ANOTHER signing with a deal for experienced ex-West Ham defender Arthur Masuaku edging reportedly closer as the Black Cats look to add some more Premier League experience to their squad ahead of the new season.
⚫️ Reports that Newcastle United are interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani after missing out on Benjamin Sesko have been quashed by local journalist Lee Ryder, who has denied that the Magpies are in negotiations with the forward. The wait for Newcastle’s next signing continues…

🔵 Everton have completed the signing of midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea for a fee of around £28m.
🐝 Brentford forward Yoane Wissa has returned to first-team training following talks with head coach Keith Andrews, but the wantaway striker has not given up on a move, and is reportedly still seeking a transfer away from the club.
🔵 Chelsea have been handed a major boost in their quest to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons, with the German outfit supposedly accepting that Simons will be moving on this summer, and targeting Liverpool’s Harvey Elliot as a possible replacement.

🔴 Manchester United have finally submitted their bid for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko with the overall package potentially rising to 85m euros (£73.8m), rivaling Newcastle United, who, amid ongoing speculation regarding the future of Alexander Isak, are also interested in securing Sesko’s services.
🔵 Manchester City have reached agreements in principle over new contracts with Ruben Dias and youngster Nico O’Reilly.
🦅 Ebere Eze and Marc Guehi are both ‘increasingly likely’ to stay at FA Cup winners Crystal Palace this summer, according to newspaper reports.

🔵 Everton have agreed to sign Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in a deal worth around £28m, as one of multiple sales that could take place at Stamford Bridge. French midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu has agreed to join Burnley, who are also interested in Albanian forward Armando Broja, whilst Borussia Dortmund have also reopened negotiations for midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.
🔴 Manchester United have been crowned the 2025 Summer Series champions after a 2-2 draw with Everton maintained their unbeaten record in the United States. United topped the table by a point from West Ham, with Bournemouth third ahead of bottom-placed Everton. United are 11/10 for a top six finish with starsports.bet.
⚪ Tottenham suffered a serious blow when midfielder James Maddison suffered a “bad” injury in a pre-season draw with Newcastle. The England international looked in clear discomfort and had to be taken from the field of play on a stretcher, with Son Heung-min, during his final appearance for the club, visibly upset in a blow to Spurs’ preparation for the new season.

🩹 In a fresh injury blow, it looks like Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddison will miss the start of the season, with manager Thomas Frank saying the injury that forced the England international off in the pre-season draw against Newcastle “looks bad”.
🔴 Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has appeared to open the door for Alejandro Garnacho to leave the club this summer, with Premier League rivals Chelsea reportedly the front-runners to secure his signature: “Garnacho is a really talented boy. But sometimes things don’t work out. You cannot explain specifically what it is. It’s clear he wants a different thing with a different leadership. They want new challenges. The market is open. I’m just working with the players that I think are going to stay.”
⚒️ It has been confirmed by West Ham United manager Graham Potter that Michail Antonio will be leaving the club this summer after the Hammers snapped up striker Callum Wilson earlier this week. Antonio is looking to get his career back on track after a serious car crash in December.
Michail Antonio will not be offered a new West Ham United contract.
Antonio’s previous deal expired at the end of June, and West Ham previously said they would delay their decision over his contract until a “right and appropriate” time after his “unique” situation.

😢 An era is coming to an end as Tottenham legend Son Heung-min, alongside new manager Thomas Frank, emotionally announced in a press conference that he was going to be leaving Spurs this summer after a decade-long association with the club. According to reports, MLS side Los Angeles FC is his most likely next destination. He will captain Spurs in their next friendly match against Newcastle United, which will be his final appearance for the club.

⚒️ West Ham are reportedly about to bolster their striking options with experienced ex-Newcastle United and Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson joining the Hammers on a one-year contract.

❌ After having their initial offer knocked back, Liverpool claim they are willing to walk away from a move for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak. The Reds reportedly now consider the situation ‘futile’.
⚪ Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a loan move for Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha, with talks between the two clubs now believed to be at an advanced stage.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles FC are in ongoing talks with Tottenham Hotspur star Heung-Min Son, with Spurs reportedly aware of the negotiations, according to Sky Germany.

🌳 Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of winger Dan Ndoye from Bologna. The Switzerland international has signed a five-year deal at the City Ground.
😲 Liverpool are believed to be preparing a likely British transfer record offer to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle and have reportedly agreed a six-year deal in principle with the Swedish striker.
🇲🇦 Newly-promoted Leeds United have enquired about the availability of Morocco international Bilal El Khannouss at Leicester City. It is reported that a bid worth more than £25million could be enough to seal the transfer.

🔴 Manchester United have made RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko their number one choice to come in as a new striker this summer. Sesko, once a target for Arsenal before they signed Viktor Gyokeres and also the subject of recent interest from Newcastle United, is one of the most highly rated young forwards in Europe and has 39 goals in 87 appearances for RB Leipzig.
🟣 Aston Villa have made an enquiry for Porto forward Samu Aghehowa, according to the Daily Mail. Aghehowa scored 19 goals and added three assists across his 30 appearances in the Primera Liga last season. The Spanish forward also finished with six goals in the Europa League, tied for the second most in the competition.
🐝 Brentford forward Yoane Wissa reportedly has no plans to take part in Thursday’s training session amid transfer interest from Newcastle United. His departure would be a blow for Brentford, who have already lost Goalkeeper Mark Flekken and club captain Christian Norgaard to Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal respectively, before key attacker Bryan Mbeumo completed a big-money move to Manchester United.

⚫️ Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe says there have not been any formal offers for Alexander Isak, who is considering his future at the club amid interest from Liverpool. The Swedish forward did not travel with the squad to Singapore on Thursday, with Newcastle saying he had a thigh injury, but it’s known that he wants a potential move away.
🔴 Arsenal are interested in Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, although more focus is on sales after making six signings in this window. The club are negotiating a deal, possibly a loan, with Fulham for Reiss Nelson, and the club are said to be open for suitable offers regarding Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira and Albert Sambi-Lokonga.

🔴 Sunderland look to have completed what is arguably the coup of the window in the shape of Granit Xhaka from Bayer Leverkusen for an initial £13m with a potential £4m in add-ons. Xhaka, a long time stalwart at Arsenal before he moved to Germany, going unbeaten with Bayer in 2023-2024, and he iws set to be the club’s eighth summer signing, following the arrivals of Enzo Le Fee, Habib Diarra, Noah Sadiki, Reinildo Mandava, Chemsdine Talbi and Simon Adingra.
⚫️ Newcastle have opened talks to sign Southampton’s Aaron Ramsdale. 🇩🇪 Luis Diaz is set to join Bayern Munich after a deal worth 75m euros (£65.5m) including add-ons was agreed with Premier League champions Liverpool.
🇸🇦 Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr have agreed a deal worth up to £43.7m for Chelsea flop Joao Felix. The 25-year-old has been given permission to travel to Riyadh for his medical to complete the move.

🔴 Liverpool forward Luis Diaz was left out of the friendly defeat against AC Milan because of speculation surrounding a potential transfer, with German champions Bayern Munich reportedly in for the Colombia international.
⚫️ A deal that would take Yoane Wissa from Brentford to Newcastle United is looking increasingly unlikely, according to Sky Sports, who report that Eddie Howe’s side have been told to up their offer significantly from their original £25million bid.

🔵 Manchester City are going to re-sign England Under-21 goalkeeper James Trafford for £27m, two years after he left to join Burnley. Trafford, who signed for Burnley in 2023, kept 29 clean sheets across 45 Championship games last season and was named in the division’s team of the year. City are 3/1 to regain their Premier League title with starsports.bet.
🔴 Viktor Gyokeres has been given clearance to complete a £63.8m move to Arsenal after a total agreement was reached with Sporting. Gyokeres, the Gunners’ main transfer target this summer, is expected to take a medical in London to finalise the move before flying out to join up with the squad for their pre-season tour of Asia, and fans will be hopeful he’s the missing link to Arsenal’s title challenge up front – no player in Europe’s top-10 leagues has scored more league goals than Gyökeres’ 68 goals in 66 games over the last two seasons – since the Swede signed for Sporting.
🔴 Bayern Munich are reportedly back in contact with Liverpool over Luis Diaz, despite the German champions having a bid worth £58.5m rejected earlier this month. Liverpool’s stance that Diaz s an important player not just for the coming season but for the remainder of his contract, which has two years left to run, remains unchanged for now.

⚫️ According to reports, Alexander Isak wants to explore his options for a move away from Newcastle this summer after missing their pre-season tour of Asia. Isak, who scored 27 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions for Newcastle last season, is 6/1 for Golden Boot honours with starsports.bet if he stays in England.
🔴 Arsenal have made another addition to their squad after completing the signing of Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia for an initial fee of £13m. 🐺 Wolves have signed Colombia international Jhon Arias from Fluminense for an initial £15m. 🔴 Arsenal began their pre-season in earnest as they beat AC 1-0 in their opening pre-season game in Singapore. Summer signings Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga made their debuts whilst Bukayo Saka scored the only goal, but Mikel Arteta had special praise for 15-year-olds Max Dowman and Marli Salmon, calling the pair “incredible”.
🔵 Chelsea are making more transfer manoeuvres. The Blues have opened talks with Ajax over a move for centre-back Jorrel Hato, while pushing ahead with interest in RB Leipzig forward Xavi Simons, with Chelsea and Leipzig discussing personal terms according to BBC Sport’s Sami Mokbel and Nizaar Kinsella.
🔴 Marcus Rashford has left to join Barcelona on an initial 12-month loan from Manchester United, with the Catalan giants having the option of signing him on a permanent basis for £30.3m (35m euros) in 2026. Rashford, who hasn’t played for boyhood club Manchester United since last December after being dropped by manager Ruben Amorin, and spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan at Aston Villa.

🔴 Manchester United have completed the signing of Bryan Mbuemo, who has joined from Brentford for £65m. The 25-year-old Cameroon forward is the club’s third signing of the summer, following fellow forward Matheus Cunha and left-back Diego Leon, signed for an initial fee of £65m with up to £6m in add-ons. United are to win the title and 4/1 to finish in the top 4 with starsports.bet.
🔴 Sunderland look set to pull off a remarkable coup – The Athletic’s David Ornstein is reporting that Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka has informed the club he is set on moving to the North East in what would be a sensational addition. The Black Cats are 9/4 to stay up with starsports.bet.
