STAR BOXING PREVIEW Sat: Anthony Joshua v Kristian Prenga
One of British boxing’s biggest names returns to action on Saturday night as former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua takes on Albanian puncher Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, writes JOE CITRONE.
Joshua most recently produced a devastating win over YouTube sensation Jake Paul back in December, and he’s now ramping up his preparations for a showdown with Tyson Fury that the boxing world has been crying out for for years.
This is his warm-up on the way there, and it comes just one night after Fury’s own tune-up against Mariusz Wach in Thailand on Friday.

Prenga has a shiny 20-1 record with every win coming by knockout, but scratch the surface and there’s nothing there. He’s never fought anyone within a hundred miles of Joshua’s level, and this step up is enormous.
Joshua should have too much class, too much power and too much experience for the Albanian. This is the kind of fight AJ needs to get through cleanly before Fury talk really heats up, and I expect him to do exactly that.
Although Joshua may want to bank some rounds here, I really can’t see this last long, and that’s why AJ to win between rounds 1-3 at 23/20 with starsports.bet is my pick heading into fight night.
