🍒 BOURNEMOUTH V BRENTFORD 🐝
Tuesday, 8.15pm

⭐️ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐️

I will be at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday for the meeting of two of this season’s surprise European contenders.

Both Bournemouth and Brentford were expected to struggle after being forced to sell star players last summer and, in the Bees’ case, losing manager Thomas Frank to Tottenham.

The fact the pair sit 10th and 7th in the table respectively, well, clear of any relegation danger, is testament to Andoni Iraola and his Brentford counterpart Keith Andrews.

The fact just four points separate the sides also makes this a tricky contest to call.

Bournemouth have a wretched record against the Bees, having never beaten them in seven previous Premier League attempts.

In fact, the visitors have won 10 of their last 13 league games against the Cherries, including each of the last five.

One thing this fixture usually serves up is plenty of goals, and you can back Over 3.5 goals at 29/20 with starsports.bet.

🔵 MANCHESTER CITY V NOTTINGHAM FOREST 🌳
Wednesday, 7.30pm

⭐️ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐️

Manchester City continue to keep Arsenal honest in the title race.

Pep Guardiola’s men may not be the swashbuckling City side of old, but they have stumbled upon the useful knack of being able to grind out victories when not at their best, as illustrated by Saturday’s hard-fought 1-0 triumph at Leeds.

It is just one defeat in seven for the Citizens, who are also bidding to rack up five wins in a row when they host Nottingham Forest on Wednesday.

On paper, City’s game looks more straightforward than Arsenal’s trip to Brighton the same evening, so Guardiola will believe that if his side can put another three points on the board, the gap at the summit could be slashed.

City’s home form has been particularly impressive, winning 15 of their last 19 Premier League matches at fortress Etihad.

They have however, given away chances during that run, but the issue for Forest, Still looking nervously over their shoulders towards the relegation places, is they do not have anybody who seems capable of putting the ball in the back of the net.

Only basement boys Wolves have failed to score in more matches than the Tricky Trees over the course of the campaign.

One of the themes of City’s recent run of form has been them hitting the front early in matches, so I like the look of a build-a-bet on City to win the first half and goal machine Antoine Semenyo to score first, which returns 5/1 with starsports.bet.

🟣 ASTON VILLA V CHELSEA 🔵
Wednesday 7.30pm

⭐️ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐️

From looking nailed for at least a Champions League place a matter of weeks ago, Aston Villa are now in danger of dropping out of the top five entirely.

Villa were leapfrogged by in-form Manchester United at the weekend and find themselves just three ahead of fifth placed Liverpool after a dismal run of two victories in their last eight Premier League games.

The biggest issue for Unai Emery, as well as a number of injuries to key players, has been a recent lack of goals. The Midlanders have scored just five times in their past eight matches, an average of 0.6 per game.

Chelsea, now down in sixth place, lost little in defeat at leaders Arsenal on Sunday, but for Pedro Neto picking up a brainless red card, the Blues’ 9th of the season, there is a strong argument they would have come away with a share of the spoils.

Keeping 11 players on the pitch has become a real problem for manager Liam Rosenior, just as it was for his predecessor Enzo Maresca.

But if Chelsea play as well as they did at the Emirates, even with 10 men, and Villa are as poor as they were in Friday’s 2-0 defeat at Wolves, then I can only see one outcome, so an away win at 6/4 with starsports.bet looks very appealing.

⚪️ TOTTENHAM V CRYSTAL PALACE 🦅
Thursday, 8.00pm

⭐️ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐️

Who would be a Tottenham fan right now?

In the wake of Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Fulham, Spurs remain the only team in the Premier League yet to pick up a victory in 2026.

The Lilywhites are so bad that even the official Premier League social media account was forced to take down a provocative post mocking their dismal run of form.

The prospect of one of the Premier League mainstays since the competition came into being in 1992 dropping down to the Championship is all of a sudden a very realistic possibility.

If West Ham were to win at Fulham on Tuesday, then Spurs could be as close two points to the bottom three by the time they kick off on Thursday night.

The appointment of interim boss Igor Tudor has not had the galvanizing impact intended, with the Croatian losing both of his opening matches.

Palace are not exactly drunk on wins but gave Manchester United a scare at Old Trafford in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat by taking an early lead and holding it until early in the second half.

Spurs haven’t kept a Premier League clean sheet since New Year’s Day, so it is definitely worth chancing a Palace goalscorer. Daniel Munoz has netted four times from right wing-back already this season and the left side of the Tottenham defence is vulnerable. Munoz is 18/1 with starsports.bet to net first.
