BEN’S BLOG: ‘Catching up with Coolavanny Bisto’

[dropcap]A[/dropcap] night at Romford Dogs, this Friday, was followed by a weekend away, in Suffolk. And having met him, right at the beginning of his career, I thought it would be rude, not to pop in and see our old friend, Coolavanny Bisto, at the Gifkins kennels, in Capel St Mary.

‘Bisto’ is now 23 months old, and since I highlighted him to you, Blog, he has gone on, to win no less than four open-races. He really is a fabulous dog, and ever so friendly, with such vivacious character. His neighbour, marathon star, Bubbly Time, couldn’t be more chilled out.

Anyway, Bisto should be running, at Romford, on Wednesday, in front of the Sky cameras . WATCH OUT..!

Zaika, 17 St Nicholas Street, Ipswich, IP1 1TW. WEBSITE I’ve been knocked back, three times previously, because I hadn’t bothered to book, this cracking little and renowned Indian restaurant. We got ourselves sorted out, earlier in the week though, this time, and didn’t regret it.
