BEN’S BLOG: ‘Fillon = Money’

[dropcap]B[/dropcap]log, what are your current French election thoughts?

Here are mine (not that you asked for them):

Macron = Corporate-Sympathiser. Nice-Face politically-correct Modernist. Double weird private-life. He’s a French Tony Blair (without Blair’s bollocks). No, thank you.

Le Pen = Impressive. Will get stuck in against the Muslim Extremists, which France surely needs. But has probably got a few too many nutters on the firm (rich coming from me!).

Fillon = Will smash all the French commies over the head and make them do a proper day’s work. Getting stitched-up all over the place with minor scandals and media problems (but is that a negative these days?).

Fillon is clearly the right choice. He will invite and progress business in France. But are the residents too lazy to take advantage of such opportunities? (Probably). And too jealous, to let foreign business people have them instead? (Definitely). I think they’ll spite themselves, and vote for Macron. But I genuinely think, that if Fillon gets in, buying property in France, particularly Paris, is a HUGE opportunity. Huge. VOTE FILLON!
