BEN’S BLOG: ‘Gaul Wood NOT happy about the ‘Brazil Situation’

[dropcap]B[/dropcap]log, a lot of people take the piss out of Frank Bruno.  And I don’t like it.  Yes, Tyson battered him.  But he’s no Henman.  At least he had the bollocks to go back for seconds, and I didn’t see many other English wet-willies in that queue.  Watching him defeat Oliver McCall, to become World Champ, always makes me blub, and I believe he’s a true example, of a Great British eccentric, who should be applauded, and supported, by us all.

When I read that he’d had a breakdown, I was so, so saddened, Blog.  A gladiator, a gentle-giant, not really made for this world.

I recently found this touching documentary, on Youtube, about Frank Bruno’s illness.  His daughter Rachel, an official cutie-pye, supporting him every step of the way.

Bruno, you’re a previously registered, and knighted Not-Staff.  Get a grip, mate!

In other news:

Every morning, I log-on to Skype, and chat with the troops, down at the office in Hove.  Gaul Wood, our MD, will start proceedings, by documenting, in order of importance, the issues of the day.  At the top of the shop, yesterday, was Gaul’s anxiety regarding the ‘Brazil Situation’.  Is Gaul not happy about our huge ante-post liability on the WC hosts?  No.  Is he disappointed that we aren’t attracting more business for the tournament?  No.  It’s the babes, Blog.  Where are they?  We need close-ups of Brazilian chicas, in the crowd, getting over excited, jumping up and down after a day in the sun, in their football shirts, complete with little nots they’ve tied in the bottom of them.  Everyone knows that’s the only reason you watch Indian 20/20 cricket or Brazil football matches!  The Beeb – SORT IT OUT.
