BEN’S BLOG: ‘Glorious Goodwood: 90% of the things you worry about never happen anyway’

I always like to have a good run on the first morning of a racing festival. It takes the sting out of my nerves and sets me up nicely for the day.

All I can think about; is all the Favourites winning, the beginning of the week starting in disaster, and with the rest of the week’s battle still to come.

But as a wise man once said to me; 90% of the things you worry about never happen anyway.

Goodwood has never been that kind to me. I’ve struggled to get going there. But we made a good start today. AND HOPE FOR MORE OF THE SAME…
