BEN’S BLOG: ‘Great news – Loony Homeopathic neglect parents to be sent to prison!’

[dropcap]I[/dropcap] completely agree with Muttley’s clipping, in today’s Racing Post (page 113, also pictured right), regarding permit holding owners, being allowed to train, and race greyhounds, at their local track. We need to be trying everything humanly possible to bring new blood into the game. Dog-Racing is a welcoming and inclusive sport, and should do all it can, to retain it’s image of being open to newcomers; whatever their budget. And what’s more, imagine the good news and profile, it would bring us, in this age of only goliath institutions dominating, should one of them win a Category 1 race…or even The Greyhound Derby…!

When they’re not striking for more money, for themselves, one thing doctors aren’t leftie about, is the danger of so called Homeopathic medicine. Dr Joseph Machta (twitter @pepemac27) told me, at a charity-dinner recently, that he was delighted to hear about some nutters, who had imposed their unfounded medical hopes onto their child, who then tragically died, now face prison for their neglect. The poor boy had Meningitis and was being ‘treated’ with maple syrup, onions and garlic. Ooohh, that’ll do the job..!! NEWS REPORT ON THIS STORY

Joseph went on to say something very interesting though, Blog, that has really stayed with me: ‘Doctors study for years, and still we would never say that we can cure everything. Hippies are so defensive, that their knee-jerk reaction, is that they have an answer for all types of medical problems. It just can’t be possible.’. GET A GRIP AND STOP IMPOSING YOURSELVES ON OTHERS.
