BEN’S BLOG: ‘Ladbrokes Coral getting right behind Greyhound Racing’

[dropcap]F[/dropcap]antastic news reaches the shores of Greyhound Racing Island, today, Blog. Ladbrokes Coral have agreed to pay a Levy on offshore business. The word on the street, is that this will add around £750k to the sport’s coffers.

For me, as much of this money, as possible, should be spent on publicly promoting The Dogs. Then, the added gate revenues should go to other deserving areas. It’s not a huge sum, but if spent wisely, could make a real difference.

If only this news had come out a year ago….would it have meant a different conclusion at Wimbledon….?
