“I’m very sorry for giving you a bollocking” (for being slap-dash, in a public-facing role, and embarrassing me, like an amateur, in front of my peers).

“I’m very sorry for over-ruling your decision” (that was simply knee-jerk, trying to be contrary, and that you are not qualified to make anyway).

“I’m very sorry for not allowing you to place that bet” (when you have been over your credit limit for eight months and had no intention of paying me if it lost).

“I’m very sorry for not laying you that price” (that had gone on Betfair two hours ago and was only ever available with Skybet, for a tenner, in the first place).

Blog, there’s no room on the Starship, for Pride. We’re on the way to Money Island and you MUST learn to say sorry. The dreaded Punters & Staff must be kept going; AT ALL COSTS.
