BEN’S BLOG: ‘Meet Flavio’

[dropcap]I[/dropcap] wake up every morning at 5.30am. This is to have a run and then be able to get to work on time. As I wake, I look out of the window, into the tropical garden; and there he is. Flavio. Pushing his wheelbarrow around. When we get home, at around 7 ‘o clock, he’s seeing to the vegetable-patch and fruit. And at 10pm, when we arrive home, from having something to eat, he runs, as fast as his little legs will take him; to open the gate.

Flavio earns about S250 – S300 a month. But there’s no time, for a little chat, with Margaret HR. About how he’s ‘feeeling’ or how unfair everything is. Just time for WORK.

DO YOU THINK FLAVIO WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM, WITH DOING A FEW HOURS PUTTING-ON, ON BOXING DAY?
