BEN’S BLOG: ‘Now THAT takes balls..!’

[dropcap]C[/dropcap]ongratulations go, to friend of this blog, David Garbacz (pictured), for receiving a Chatan Bereish award, for works, and general do-gooding, in the community. When arriving at his party last night, I did say to David though, that he should have just told everybody, he was having a second Bahmitzvah. That way, we all might have left behind, a couple of hundred quid, on our way out. Keep up, Dave. You missed a move..!!

Thanks go to another friend of this blog, “Bud Fox”, for taking me, to ‎Il Baretto, this evening, to celebrate passing his exams, to become a stock-broker. Congratulations! Even more fabulous though, was the news that he’d proposed to a girl, who he isn’t even going out with. Now THAT takes balls. I like your style, Bud!

Staff friendly, not flash (a relief, and rarity, for a London Italian restaurant). ‎A really tasty aubergine starter (NAP). Followed by a reasonable tuna-steak. And a better than average Mille Feux for desert (NB). Competent. 6.5
