BEN’S BLOG: ‘So what did you learn from the General Election?’
[dropcap]F[/dropcap]or ages, it all looked a bit of a non-event, and then kicked-off, to be a Trump/Clinton thriller on election-night, didn’t it, Blog?
I believe that one lesson comes from the whole event: You MUST talk to and connect with people, whoever you are and whatever your position is. It is in both David’s and Goliath’s favour.
We live in a world, dominated by impersonal corporations, who lay down the laws, and you play by them. Ever tried talking to your bank or mobile-phone operator? Mrs May thought that she could treat voters like Orange but was sorely mistaken. The Public won’t have their vote treated like that. They need to believe in, connect with, and really, like their selection.
Are you a bit too special to listen to others? Have you got too much money to bother communicating? Do you think it’s all about just being a clever-cloggs? Wrong! GOOD THINGS HAPPEN WHEN YOU TALK.
