Unbelievable scenes, Jeff!! Thanks go to Nigel Flowers for all the best prices (we’re such mugs we get the VIP treatment, you know..!!)).

And what a contribution to the game, the good Lord and Kevin, are making. It was a pleasure to not only witness the TV Trophy but also the first hurdle-race at the track. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, LADS.

In other news:

Beloved member of the Star Family, and official Shoreditcher (who doesn’t live in Shoreditch), David Haddrell (right), has marked our card with a politics bet. In between VIP dinners, finding ways of making ‘loads a maney’ on the side, and enjoying luxury holidays, David is an ardent middle-class-leftie, and has his eye firmly on the punting ball.

He’s put up Yvette Cooper, to be next Labour leader, at 9s (the Betfair Bootleggers are 10s, but don’t give them any business), and he sights YC as being a great bet, as he doesn’t believe the lefty-love-in, with Beardy Corbyn, will last. Don’t say you weren’t told! GOOD LUCK, DAVE..!!
