BEN’S BLOG: ‘The Cruel Kidnapping of Clares Rocket’

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he news about top greyhound, Clares Rocket, being kidnapped; is atrocious. Many moons ago, I used to go to Portsmouth Dogs, for their open-race nights (who else loved that inside-hare?). And there was a bright young trainer, starting his journey. Graham Holland (pictured). Of course, Graham has gone on now, to become one of the most successful handlers in the game. And I have no doubt, that this incident will be shocking him deeply.

We all know what happened to Shergar. Let’s make sure that the culprits of this terrible act, are quickly tracked down, properly punished, and that this great dog, is back on the track; WHERE HE BELONGS.
