BEN’S BLOG: ‘The Last Outpost Against The Punters & Staff’
[dropcap]B[/dropcap]eing an independent-bookmaker, I am viewed, by society; as a complete spiv. That’s fine though; as in Star Sports, time-honoured tradition, everything humanly possible, is done, on the shameless cheap/Blue Peter style.
However, this week, due to Ryan Air and EasyJet being full up, I have had to change tact, and fly, with British Airways, to Seville. A total rip-off, at Β£700, but Pam (my life-assistant), suggested to me, that to pay only, an extra eighty quid, for Business Class; actually looked value (she’s been well trained, Blog).
AND WHAT A GOOD CALL! Strictly, no surly Ryan-Air nasty-faces, to take on, at check-in. Only, the friendliest smiles, and making everything easy. Also, I was gutted to find out, at the last minute, that there’s a private-lounge, that is quiet, comfortably furnished, and offering drinks and meals, at no extra cost. No more queuing up for dog-food at Eat! This treat needs to be repeated, Blog!!
In a world, where we all have to, not bow, but practically decapitate ourselves, to satisfy political-correctness, and are dehumanised, by corporate giants, to fit-in, with the lowest common-denominator, it’s wonderful to know, that SOMEONE still does SOMETHING properly.
BRITISH AIRWAYS = THE LAST OUTPOST AGAINST THE PUNTERS & STAFF.
