BEN’S BLOG: ‘The Wisdom of Prince Philip’

ben_keith_team-150x150[dropcap]G[/dropcap]ood afternoon, Blog. It’s my birthday. 37. So there we go. Another year has passed.

ppThank you everybody, for your kind texts, cards, and lovely presents. My favourite though, is from Jayne and Margaret (just to let you know how politically-correct I am, by employing so many of the fairer-sex). It’s a book, each page, with a little cartoon, and a quote from Prince Philip, who truly must be, the most accidentally-funny man, on the planet.

I have tried to pick out the best quote for you. But I simply can’t, Blog. They are all so good. But try these two for size:

To a group of female Labour MPs, who were wearing name-badges, reading ‘Ms’, at Buckingham Palace. “Ah, so this is feminists corner then?”.

Also, to win the Scottish Women’s Institute’s, hearts and minds, he opened with: “British women can’t cook.”

Prince Philip = WORLD CLASS.

In other news:

lobsterThe Lobster Pot, The Esplanade, Bognor Regis PO22 7AF. Yet another good restaurant, I have found for you, for when you are Goodwood bound. No reservations (I know, Blog, rather annoying). But it really is very good, and also excellent value.

Superb starters (the duck and calamari were top-draw‎). And the battered-haddock, as a main, was up there, with the best fish n chips, I’ve ever eaten. Also, a huge selection of homemade desserts and cakes to choose from. MAXIMUM BET. 9

Over and out, B x
