BEN’S BLOG: ‘This is a generic brand video’

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his, ever-so-clever, video-poem, written by rather frightening, but amusing feminist, Kendra Eash; made my day yesterday. It is dedicated to all of the graduate-management-consultants, in their early twenties, who have never run a company. And also, to the older generation, of corporate wally-woo’s, who peddle this type of crap, should know better, but do so; as a result of a complete lack of understanding of their products, business, and most of all: other human beings. WE’RE NOT STUPID.

Going from taking the piss out of some Corporate People, to now saluting one of them. (Steady on, Blog. Don’t worry, I’m not joining the ‘Dark Side’ quite yet!) My copy, of the June edition, of the quite superb, Betting Business, has just arrived. As ever, thanks go to the publication’s most pertinent of editor’s; Andy McCarron. Andy informs, on his front page, that Patrick Kennedy, of Paddy Power, is soon to step down. This guy is one high-achiever, and surely we must all confess, to have been watching his career progress, with awe. He’s worked wonders with Paddy Power…but what will his next move be? Let’s hope it’s not a boring one..! BIG PLAYER.
