#BettingPeople: PHILIP DAVIES MP: Philip Davies is a Conservative MP for Shipley in West Yorkshire who has been in Parliament since 2005. A fan of racing from an early age, Philip worked in a betting shop run by his mother and also worked at Asda in Leeds as a Senior Marketing Manager before becoming an MP, he was elected to the board of the Racehorse Owners Association (ROA) in 2019 and has been a vocal voice in support of the racing industry.
