Breeders’ Cup Bonanza starts tonight

YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAH
Breeders’ Cup (part one) tonight at Santa Anita with the first five races of the 14 race extravaganza.
Star Sports have a range of offers and an interesting offer in the Juvenile Turf – with the four European trained horses coupled – a massive tempter for me at EVENS !
Just the odd $25 million to be sorted out and one of the most interesting races tonight is the Breeders’ Cup Distaff and Royal Delta (around 15/8 with Star Sports) will be bidding to win the race for a remarkable third successive year.
In the closing 10 furlong Classic tomorrow night Aidan O’Brien bids to win the race for the first time having had 12 previous attempts without success but has gone close with Giant’s Causeway and Henrythenavigator who both finished runner-up.
O’Brien does have a great chance tonight in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf – he is doubly represented by Giovanni Boldini (Ryan Moore) and Wilshire Boulevard (William Buick).
Wilshire Boulevard has had a relatively busy season which, as always, is one of the biggest problems for the European raiders and preference is for recent Dundalk winner Giovanni Boldini who bids to give Aidan O’Brien a third successive win in the race.
Giovanni Boldini won a Listed race at Dundalk last time out and with a brilliant draw in 2 he looks the bet of the night for me.

LIGHTNING DOES STRIKE TWICE
A rodeo clown has miraculously survived after being struck by lightning twice on the same day.
Casey Wagner was taking part in a Rednecks With Paychecks off-road driving event in Saint Jo, Texas, when a storm hit.
He sheltered under a tree and was struck by lightning.
“What I remember is just a loud boom and it dropped me to my knees – and then it hit me again,” he told CBS News.
“When I got hit, it was just two big old flashes and then sparks went everywhere.”
Mr Wagner said he felt electricity shoot up through his right boot and into his body.
The 31-year-old dropped to his knees when he was struck again.
