Carrera to career home at Lingfield
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he chance to hopefully get a few pennies in the bank ahead of the BBB this week.
Brazil Betting Bonanza !!
At Lingfield tonight I like the look of Carrera in the 5.55 (run on the turf course) who looks a solid each way option.
He remains a maiden after 15 starts which isn’t the most encouraging of stats to start with but there are reasons for thinking he could go close in this company.
I always like a horse drawn high over this distance at Lingfield and he has fared well in box 11 of 12. His style of racing is to race prominently and that could prove vital here if he can grab the stands side running rail.
He has also been dropped by the handicapper to the same mark as he was when finishing second (beaten just a short head) here on the AW course. He ran a cracker that day and was only headed on the line at 33/1.
That was his first start for Mark Blanshard and he has continued to run well enough since. The firmer ground tonight should also suit. He was fourth of 12 at Salisbury earlier in his career on good to firm ground.
The market signals have been positive so far and he looks (excuse the pun) the proverbial each-way bet to nothing.
RECOMMENDED BET (scale of 1-10 points)
5 points each way Carrera at around 11/2 Star Sports
