Derby and QPR to cancel each other out

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]assive week of football betting action with a full Premier League programme which includes Arsenal v Man U on Wednesday.

First up tonight though is Championship action with Derby v QPR pitching the teams in 4th and 3rd respectively in the Championship table.

Leicester already look as though they have clinched the first automatic promotion spot so there’s huge pressure on the second place without the need to contest the lottery of the play offs.

Both teams are in great form and on decent unbeaten runs.

The reverse fixture at Loftus Road saw a win for QPR:

HEAD TO HEAD RECORD
(Max last 10 only)
Nov 2013 Championship QPR 2-1 Derby
Apr 2011 Championship QPR 0-0 Derby
Aug 2010 Championship Derby 2-2 QPR
Mar 2010 Championship QPR 1-1 Derby
Oct 2009 Championship Derby 2-4 QPR
Jan 2009 Championship Derby 0-2 QPR
Sep 2008 Championship QPR 0-2 Derby
Mar 2007 Championship Derby 1-1 QPR
Oct 2006 Championship QPR 1-2 Derby
Apr 2006 Championship QPR 1-1 Derby

It’s a fascinating match in prospect. Derby have scored 57 goals so far this season, more than any other, whilst QPR have conceded the fewest goals (20) and kept the most clean sheets (14) in the Championship so far this season.

Clearly either manager (Steve McLaren, Derby and Harry Redknapp, QPR) would be delighted to take all three points – but will be most concerned with not losing so it might well be a case of two good in-form teams cancelling each other out.
