On a dramatic day which saw Raymond van Barneveld dumped out of the World Matchplay by Justin Pipe there was more late night drama to come….

Defending champion and 13-time champion Phil Taylor survived an epic challenge from Terry Jenkins in Blackpool to win 14-12.

The Bull Jenkins had huge chances and led 10-9 but the Power took out a huge 109 to level at 10-10.

Back at the Winter Gardens tonight James Caven at around 10/11 looks massive value against Dave Chisnall. Caven beat his rival 6-0 earlier in the season and I don’t understand why he’s not a 4/9 shot. A maximum bet for me.
