DW stands for DRAW
Wigan v Doncaster
Championship

DOUBLE WHAMMY LANDED
That was a nice ‘double whammy’ to start the week.
10 points MAN CITY (-2) at around 7/4
10 points OVER 2.5 GOALS
And a lovely feeling to settle back at half-time with the job (almost) done.
There was little to choose between Man U, Man C and Chelsea in the Star Sports ante-post markets and even after just one week you get the feeling that it’s impossible for a winner to emerge from outside this trio.
Depressing in some ways.
We’ll drop a league for tonight’s bet.
I’m heading to the DW Stadium for Wigan’s first home match of the season against newly promoted Doncaster.
It’s the first time the teams have met since 1997 and both sides have had a mixed start to the new campaign.
Wigan had the distraction of the Community Shield which came after their 4-0 defeat of Barnsley on the opening day of the season.
Since then though they were beaten 1-0 by Bournemouth.
Doncaster, League One Champions last season, come here on the back of a slightly surprising 2-0 victory against Blackburn and are a side that do get good results away from home.
Small bet for me tonight on the stalemate.
STAR FORECAST

LIVING THE HIGH LIFE
Officials are hunting a man who infuriated neighbours by building an elaborate residence on an apartment block.
About six years ago Zhang Biqing, said to be an ex-army medic, started his grand project to cover the rooftop of the 26-storey Beijing building with fake rocks, real greenery and even a swimming pool.
Mr Zhang, who became famous after inventing a system of Chinese acupuncture treatment, managed to carry out the building work despite years of constant complaints.
The project has allegedly caused water leaks and structural damage to the flats downstairs.
A surveillance camera is seen on the top of a privately built villa, surrounded by imitation rocks, on the rooftop of a 26-storey residential block in Beijing.
Chinese officials have given Mr Zhang 15 days to vacate the residence in the city’s west district of Haidian – but they face a major issue.
“The only thing now for us is that we can’t find the owner,” said the Beijing City Enforcement Bureau’s Chen Yu told reporters.
