⬆️ KENNEL VISIT: LIZ & RAB McNAIR | GREYHOUND DERBY STARSPORTS.BET TV

Liz and Rab McNair will head to the 2022 Star Sports Derby at Towcester with a team of four dogs, two boys, two girls, including one bitch who Rab thinks is the fastest he has ever seen. The husband and wife training duo tell Julie Collier how their kennels have had to adapt over the last couple of years with no pups coming along and then, like buses, three came at once! Plus Rab gives us the low down on his Derby chances.

Warzone Tom

Tom is the most experienced of the McNair runners who will be making his way to Towcester in the coming weeks. That said, as Rab explains, he is best when fresh to a track so his preparation may take a bit of planning. A dog that has made an array of finals and won the Gold Colar over 540m at Crayford, how far can he go in the Star Sports Derby?

Feora Noel

Noel is a December 2019 son of Droopys Sydney. He has undoubted speed but also a temperament that needs a little managing to gain his confidence. Given that, his preparation for the Derby is already underway at Towcester.

Havana Bale Out

Northern Puppy Derby finalist, Havana Bale Out, has just turned two years of age and is flying, just as she did when she was just 20 months old and clocking 29.17sec at Towcester in the Puppy Derby. Liz and Rab have trained exceptionally fast bitches over the years, so for Rab to think this is the best he has even seen, is quite a statement.

Havana Lover

Your head tells you this August 2020 bitch is too young to take for the Derby at Towcester. But she flew round in a trial before the Maiden Derby started then backed that up by winning her heat at the weekend in great style. Surely she would be difficult to leave at home?
