Man City have had better weeks…

EVERTON CHANCE TO GO TOP

Everton are no Bayern Munich but they have started the season very well, remain unbeaten and have the added carrot of going to the top of the table if they can beat Man City here.

It’s a good time for them to be visiting the Etihad. City supporters have a point with the timing of this match – an early kick off after their midweek exploits against Bayern Munich in the Champions League and it remains to be seen how much that match has taken out of the players.

Man City are expected to announce a largely unchanged team.

Man City have plenty of points to prove – not only after Bayern Munich but after their surprise defat by Aston Villa last weekend.

This is no easy tie for them at the end of a diffuclt week and I’m taking the draw option with Star Sports at around 16/5.
