Man U v Hull (7.45pm)
[dropcap]J[/dropcap]ust when I thought I’d seen it all this season, up pops the 3-3 draw at Selhurst Park.
At 3-0 up, Liverpool were making great in-roads into reducing their goal advantage difference with Man City but it all ended in tears (literally).
On a side note, what a fantastic atmosphere from the Crystal Palace fans. Even when they were trailing 3-0 they were still making plenty of noise that puts other Premier League fans to shame. They certainly set a fantastic example and were rewarded by being sent home with a smile on their faces.
Man U v Hull tonight in the Premier League (KO 7.45pm) is an end of season dead rubber but after meeting defeat at the hands of Sunderland, Man U will surely use their final home game of the season to try and get some semblance of crumbs from what has been a wretched season.
Hull defied pre-season odds by simply staying up, but only just in the end after their good early season form has tailed off over the last couple of months.
They also have the side attraction of the FA Cup final against Arsenal to look forward to a week on Saturday at Wembley.
Hull’s record against ‘old’ Man U doesn’t give them a lot of hope. They have lost all five of their previous Premier League meetings.
