No hiding from Masquerade at Lingfield

OBVIOUS BET HIDING BEHIND A MASQUERADE….

The Port Vale -2 was landed last night but it was agonising watching the match with the third and fourth goals coming very late on.

The jumps season continues to warm up and there’s a good card at Huntingdon this afternoon with that man again AP McCoy holding several ace cards.

Masquerade looks obvious in the 2.30 at Lingfield – a jumps card today but this is a bumper run on the all-weather.

Masquerade has already shown ability in two bumper races at Southwell and the Warren Greatrex trained runner looks a solid bet at around evens here.

You would always have to be fearful of a Nicky Henderson trained runner at this level but Vodka’n Tonic hasn’t shown a great deal so far and Masquerade’s form looks superior.

STAR FORECAST
(stake between 0.5 and 10 points)
10 points MASQUERADE at around evens

THE FUTURE IS CURVED

Apple is said to be working on curved screens for future versions of the iPhone, as well as sensors that can detect different levels of pressure.

The curved models are set to have larger screen sizes of 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, reports Bloomberg.

It says a source familiar with the plans believes a release date in the second half of next year is likely.

Samsung released a curved phone, the 5.7-inch Galaxy Round, last month – but the handset is currently available only in South Korea.

LG also revealed a similar device with a 6-inch screen, called the G Flex.
