Biden out to 9/4 from 7/4 to maintain post

Following speculation around the deteriorating health of Joe Biden, his odds to maintain his post as President of the United States have drifted overnight, according to Star Sports.

The current president has seen his odds shift against his favour to 9/4 from 7/4, along with his chances of being the Democratic Nominee being pushed out to 4/9 from 1/5.

Michelle Obama’s pursuit of being named Democratic Nominee continues to strengthen, shortening to 4/1 from 6/1 at close of play yesterday, with Kamala Harris a notable mover from 33/1 to 11/1.

William Kedjanyi, Political Betting Analyst at Star Sports, said: “Given the talk surrounding whether Joe Biden is fit to keep his post as President of the United States, his odds have taken a serious tumble in his campaign.

“The current president has drifted from 7/4 to 9/4 with regards to the prospect of maintaining his current role, whilst his odds to be Democratic Nominee have been pushed out to 4/9 from his 1/5 price yesterday.

“As a result, Democratic Nominee contenders Michelle Obama, now at 4/1 from 6/1, and Kamala Harris, 11/1 from 33/1, are hot on his tail and this may not be the one-horse race many thought it once was.”
