PREVIEW: Arsenal v Besiktas
[dropcap]L[/dropcap]ast night was a nightmare, right ?
MK Dons 4 Man U 0
I can’t even begin to start to pen my thoughts on that match, or the state of Man U at the moment. Suffice to say that ANY team must fancy their chances of getting a result against them at the moment. It really is simply incredible on so many levels.
Back to the Champions League tonight and hopefully some ‘normality’ in terms of punditry.
Arsenal have the return leg of their Champions League match against Turkish outfit Besiktas at the Emirates.
It finished 0-0 in Turkey.

There’s plenty at stake – a place in the Group stage for the winners and Arsenal clearly have the advantage having surely been happy enough to grab a draw in Turkey.
The Gunners have a good record in Champions League playoff matches (winning 12 and drawing 1) and are long odds on to progress despite being without striker Oliver Giroud (suspected broken ankle) and midfielder Aaron Ramsey (suspended).
Their confidence will be boosted by grabbing an unlikely draw against Everton at the weekend and they bid here for a Champions League Group stage place for the 17th straight season.
Manager Arsene Wenger said: “Experience plays a big part. We have big experience of playing in the Champions League and in highly pressurised games. We can use that.”
I’m trying the same bet as yesterday to recover last night’s losses which can often be a dangerous punting strategy but Arsenal HT/FT at around 11/10 is the call with Star Sports.
