PREVIEW: Man City v Roma

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]toke kept up the good run on the tipping front with a 1-0 win against Newcastle last night.

Two days of Champions League action start tonight and the obvious preview match is at the Etihad.

I’m usually more keen on going under 2.5 goals in Champions League games but this one could be the exception with both team scoring goals for fun.

Man City couldn’t have picked a worse time to face Roma who have made a sizzling start to the new season in Serie A winning all six matches.

With Bayern Munich winning earlier this evening against CSKA Moscow the pressure has mounted on both these teams in Group E to register a win especially City who were beaten by Bayern Munich in their opening game whereas Roma beat CSKA Moscow 5-1.

Man City are expected to be boosted by the return of goalkeeper Joe Hart and Stevan Jovetic is also back after a hamstring injury. However, they will be without midfielders Fernando and Samir Nasri.

I’m going over 2.5 goals at around 4/6 with Star Sports.
