PREVIEW: MK Dons v Man U
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]here’s not much upside for Louis van Gaal tonight as his injury hit side play MK Dons for the first time ever in the Capital One Cup.
Man U’s start to the season has been poor. An opening defeat at Old Trafford at the hands of Swansea was followed up with a 1-1 draw against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light at the weekend.
League One MK Dons come here on the back of a 4-2 win over Gillingham on Saturday.
The best result for MK Dons has probably already happened – the draw for this match. It’s ensured a sell out crowd of 29,000 at the Stadium MK.
However, they are not too bad when cast in the roll of the giant-killer having won two of their previous six clashes with Premier League opponents in the League Cup.
It looks as though Man U will field a fairly strong side no doubt to partly spare any further blushes.
In terms of a bet there are probably a lot worse 10/11 shots than Man U HT/FT.
