PREVIEW: Spurs v Hull

[dropcap]L[/dropcap]iverpool slip up again – their fourth defeat of the row – and incredibly they are now in the bottom half of the table.

Astonishing when you consider how short they went in the market last season to actually win the title.

Another underperforming team this season is Spurs who travel to Hull for the 4pm kick off and are currently in the middle of their worst start to a Premier League season since 2008/9.

Spurs surely have to win this to have any pretentions of getting a Champions League spot ? Even three points this afternoon will not take them into that zone but it would be a step in the right direction.

It’s certainly not a shortage of goals that are causing Spurs problems – they have scored in their last 11 matches but they are also letting a few too many too.

It could easily be a high scoring game because Hull usually manage to find the back of the net too but are in a wretched vein of form winning only one of their last 10 Premier League games.
