PREVIEW: West Brom v Burnley

[dropcap]N[/dropcap]ot been a bad couple of days on the tipping front – I could get used to this !!

After the Ryder Cup profit on Friday – the advice on the Merseyside derby also came up trumps yesterday.

I went for the draw so was delighted to see the spectacular late equaliser from Everton.

All eyes will on the closing action at Gleneagles on Sunday but I have to go where I think I can best show a profit.

So it’s back to the Premier League for the only match of the day.

Even Sky are dropping the ‘Super’ from Sunday for today and it’s not really surprising given that West Brom are struggling with their home form and Burnley are going for their fourth 0-0 on the spin……. am I selling this to you !!!

Despite those stats, when these two teams combine there often IS goals so it might be a case of expecting the unexpected for their first ever clash in the Premier League.

Feb 2002 League Div 1 Burnley 0-2 West Brom
Sep 2001 League Div 1 West Brom 1-0 Burnley

With West Brom and Burnley 17th and 19th in the table respectively you would have to think that both sides have to go for the full three points here.

West Brom look the more likely – especially if they can continue the form that saw them shock Spurs 1-0 at White Hart Lane last Saturday.

But I’m betting over 2.5 goals with Star Sports at around 11/10.

RECOMMENDED BETS (scale of 1-50 points)

BACK OVER 2.5 GOALS at around 11/10 for 8 points with Star Sports
