PREVIEW: York Day One
[dropcap]G[/dropcap]ood result for the column on Tuesday with the recommended draw obliging between Besiktas and Arsenal.
The opening day of the York Ebor meeting and the best bet on the card for me is Felix Leiter in the closing nursery at 4.55.
It’s very competitive but getting easier with five non runners at the time of writing.
Felix Leiter picks up a penalty for his effortless success at Nottingham but looks more than capable of defying it.
He led a furlong out that day and coasted home to beat Indian Champ by five lengths.
The faster ground shouldn’t prove a problem for the Karl Burke trained runner as he had previously won on faster ground at Yarmouth.
There’s a whole stack of promising two-year-olds in opposition including another Nottingham winner in Uptight but for me I’m taking Felix Leiter to continue his winning run.
