Railer Rocket back on track

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]fter a couple of defeats in recent trial stakes long time ante-post jolly Clares Rocket was today back in sparkling form. One of three dogs to register under 29.00 secs he railed well at the first and last bends to record 28.98.

Also ducking under was Bubbly Bluebird who showed fine early and middle pace to post 28.97, but best time of the day went to Dean Childs’ Puppy Derby Finalist Droopys Bonucci with 28.96 which prompted a trim from 66/1 to 40/1.

Other noteworthy performances came from early paced Fweshfromthesesh 29.15, strong running Sonic 29.38, Graham Hollands Kiss & Hug 29.29 and the hugely likeable Calico Ranger 29.43.

With the first round heats kicking in next Thursday, Friday & Saturday we are all looking to get a good ante-post portfolio together that gets us well past the early rounds, nobody likes an early re-load !
