STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Fri: Ipswich v Sheffield United
Struggling Sheffield United could really do with a result when they make the trip to Ipswich Town, who have also started the Championship season slowly, writes JOE CITRONE.
Many, including myself, had Ipswich as their pre-season favourites for promotion, and the Tractor Boys may still fulfill that expectation, but they certainly haven’t started the campaign as strongly as expected.
After four matches, Kieran McKenna’s side sit in 20th-place in the Championship table, and are still without a win after drawing three and losing one so far.
There is still plenty of time to come good, and they will have been boosted by the signing of Marcelino Nunez from arch rivals Norwich City, but McKenna’s men need to start showing what they can do sooner rather than later, or they may get cut adrift from the chasing pack.

⭐ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐
Their early-season struggles are nothing in comparison to Sheffield United’s, though, who are not only without a win, they are without a single point.
Manager Ruben Selles, who controversially replaced popular boss Chris Wilder in the summer, is already under serious pressure at Bramall Lane after losing all of their opening four Championship fixtures.
Another defeat on Friday night could spell the end of his short reign as Blades boss, with supporters already becoming disgruntled to say the least, and so it is vitally important for the Spaniard that his side come away with something.
Although I don’t much like sitting on the fence with these predictions, considering that Ipswich have already drawn three matches this season and Sheffield United are desperate to avoid defeat, a draw looks like an appealing bet at 13/5 with starsports.bet.
