STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Fri: Plymouth Argyle v Watford
Plymouth Argyle and Watford return to action tonight with both clubs looking to continue their promising form, writes WILLIAM KEDJANYI.
Plymouth are battling to stay afloat in the division and before the international break they managed a crucial 1-0 victory over relegation rivals Portsmouth and a 1-1 draw at Derby County, the first time in the Championship this season that they have avoided defeat in consecutive matches.
They’ve put together a strong record at Home Park, with four wins and one draw from their last five home fixtures against Luton, Blackburn, Preston and Portsmouth, and will be hoping for another strong showing in front of their own fans here.

⭐️ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐️
Watford currently sit in sixth place, having entered the international break in sixth place after a 1-0 success over Oxford United. They’re just six points off leaders Sunderland and they would be even closer if it wasn’t for a dire away record.
Watford have lost six of their eight matches on their travels, and if they can improve that record even slightly then they could very well play a serious part in the Championship title race.
Manager Tom Cleverley has options with Francisco Sierralta and Moussa Sissoko are back from suspension, although the timing of this game is a challenge with Ken Sema, Edo Kayembe, Giorgi Chakvetadze and Vakoun Bayo in action for their national teams on Tuesday.
The visitors are well clear of their hosts in the table but their respective home records – Plymouth’s only home league defeat under Wayne Rooney arrived back in August, and Watford have lost six of their right away games – tempter enthusiasm for taking with starsports.bet and on the draw looks the best bet.
