Sheffield United may sit mid-table in the Championship after 12 games, but patience with Chris Wilder is beginning to wear thin among some Blades supporters. A positive result would go a long way towards easing the pressure on the manager and giving United a platform to push towards the play-off places.

Their last outing was a frustrating one. While the draw against struggling Derby County added another point to their tally, it was a disappointing result given that the Rams were reduced to 10 men following Dion Sanderson’s sending-off.

Wrexham’s start to the season has been disappointing, particularly after coming so close to the play-offs last term. Their struggles so far have raised questions over whether manager Phil Parkinson can take the Welsh outfit to the next level.

A 2-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers in their last outing saw Wrexham slip to 17th in the table. They will be eager to bounce back with a positive result if they are to keep their pre-season ambitions of a promotion push alive.
