STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Mon: Swansea v Rotherham
Swansea City will be looking to stop the rot on Monday night after a run of poor form whilst Rotherham United will be desperate to take a step closer to Championship survival.
After a disastrous January transfer window, where they lost out on a string of targets, Russell Martin’s side have not enjoyed a good run of form; losing four of their last six Championship matches and slipping to 15th in the table.
Their latest defeat came on Tuesday night they were swept aside 3-1 by Stoke City thanks to a brace from Josh Laurent and a late strike from Lewis Baker.
Morgan Whittaker did score, though, which will come as a boost to Martin. He had a superb first half of the season on loan at Plymouth Argyle, but is still yet to show his very best in a Swansea shirt.

After winning promotion from League One last season, Rotherham United are fighting to retain their place in the Championship and avoid dropping straight back into the third-tier at the first time of asking.
They currently sit five points above the dreaded drop-zone, but they could be caught if they are not careful with sides like Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town showing signs of improvement since changing managers. Former Rotherham boss Neil Warnock’s appointment by the Terriers, in particular, will be a cause for concern.
However, they picked up a much-needed victory over Sunderland in their last Championship outing with goals from Ollie Rathbone and Shane Ferguson enough to secure a vital three points for Matt Taylor’s side.
Both of these sides have suffered their struggles this season for different reasons, but Rotherham are the ones coming into this one with the momentum. I fancy them to nick themselves an away win here at 5/1 with starsports.bet.
