ARSENAL v LEEDS UNITED PREVIEW
Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Brighton in their last outing, with Mikel Arteta’s side eager to return to winning ways at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners have also been handed a potential boost in the wider Premier League title race, following Manchester City being found guilty of the majority of the 115 charges against them.
However, Arsenal’s immediate priority will be putting their recent defeat behind them and maintaining their push at the top of the table.
Team selection could prove important, with Declan Rice, Ezri Konsa and Kai Havertz among the key players reported to have withdrawn from international duty through injury. Arteta will be hoping his squad returns to full fitness ahead of Saturday’s fixture, as Arsenal look to deliver a response in front of their home supporters.
Leeds United, meanwhile, have made an encouraging start to the Premier League season and sit fifth in the table after five matches. Daniel Farke will be keen to maintain that momentum as his side prepare for a challenging trip to North London.
Farke’s side have had relatively few international injury concerns, although Jean-Mattéo Bahoya withdrew from the France Under-21 squad with an ankle issue.
Arsenal will go into the match as favourites, particularly given their home advantage, but Leeds have shown enough in the opening weeks of the campaign to suggest they should not be underestimated.

WHERE IS THE VALUE IN ARSENAL v LEEDS UNITED?
Despite Arsenal’s heavy defeat to Brighton in their most recent outing, the Gunners have generally been difficult to break down at the Emirates Stadium.
I expect Arteta’s side to respond positively against Leeds, although the visitors’ promising start to the season could make this a competitive encounter.
With Arsenal’s last 11 home matches featuring fewer than four goals, a home win combined with under 3.5 goals looks an appealing option for this Premier League fixture.
